Hair rituals are ever-changing. Sometimes with every new year, it feels like we have to add more products to address new concerns or even throw out the rituals that have worked for us because of changes in the texture or condition of our hair and scalp.
Many of you know that my hair and beauty philosophy is to keep things simple. I've spent the last year experimenting with all of you to find the best clean & organic hair products that deliver results, improve the condition of your hair and simplify your beauty rituals. Below you'll find a list of my favorites for the year as well as some runner-ups.

This duo isn't just for color-treated hair. The well-balanced ingredients are suitable for all hair types and leave the hair supple and shiny without being weighed down. Honey locks in moisture while Pumpkin seed oil protects from damage that can fade color and dull natural shine.

BEST ONE & DONE CURL PRODUCT: Innersense I Create Hold
Although I do love layering this product on top of leave-in-conditioners like Sweet Spirit & Serenity Smoothing Cream it really holds its own as a one-and-done curl product. While its loose gel consistency can be intimidating, this gel transforms natural texture into defined yet touchable curls. This product is best for curly clients who like to define their spirals. An alternative for a looser airier texture is Inner Peace Cream Whipped Texturizer.
BEST PRODUCT THAT EVERYONE WOULD BENEFIT FROM: Cult & King Tonik
A 23-botanical masterpiece? Tonik's most notable use is fighting off the hair thinning hormone, DHT, and promoting new healthy growth but even those with abundant follicles will benefit from the scalp-nourishing and pH-balancing ingredients. Spray Tonik on lengths as a toner that creates shine and suppleness and primes hair then rub it into the scalp for balanced sebum production & healthy hair growth.

Hairstory New Wash
This isn't the first time I've told you and it probably won't be the last. New Wash from Hairstory is a game-changer when it comes to hair rituals and the health of your hair. This one-step cleansing conditioner nourishes the hair by retaining your hair's natural moisture for hair that is supple. New Wash makes curls jucier and frizz-free, plumps fine strands for fuller hair, and minimizes the need for leave-in-condioners. Because New Wash doesn't strip your hair of the natural oils it needs it can be used as frequently as desired and since it helps maintain a healthy and balanced scalp you don't have to worry about excessive oil and flakiness.
